PHOTO ESSAY: Magnolias in Hampton Park

Contributing photographer Michael Kaynard took an annual trip to Hampton Park over the weekend to photograph magnolias in all of their glory.  He writes, “Magnolias vary a great deal. Some are beautiful when they first bloom and others when they are near their end. They are all beautiful in their own way. I think there is a parallel that can be drawn regarding people. Embrace the beauty in all of us, no matter how different we are.”

Fantastic closeup photography. Makes me appreciate our magnolia tree blossoms a little more fully here in Virginia.
