Staff reports | Party at The Point, a long-beloved Happy Hour concert series is back for its 20th season this year on Friday evenings next month starting July 2. The series, which features bands like the Dubplates and three tribute bands, is the area’s longest-running happy hour concert series, now back after a year off thanks to the pandemic.

Staff reports | You can enjoy the spring influx of birds to the area starting at 8:30 a.m. April 24 at the Charleston Museum’s Dill Sanctuary, a 580-acre wild preserve located along the Stono River on James Island that is home to a wide array of birdlife. A six-acre wildlife pond with three nesting islands attracts numerous wading birds, including threatened wood storks, while maintained fields, surrounded by woodland, provide habitat for songbirds, wild turkeys and raptors.
Staff reports | The first show of the new series of Safe Sounds concerts at Firefly Distillery in North Charleston will now be April 17 featuring 20 Ride: America’s #1 Zac Brown Tribute Band. The original first show with Sam Bush is now April 29 after being moved from March 19.

Opera on the Waterfront is a free outdoor, socially-distanced concert presented by Charleston Opera Theater and the Town of Mount Pleasant on the lawn at Memorial Waterfront Park in Mount Pleasant at 7 p.m. Saturday.
