Leave our historical statues alone.
The people depicted in the statues, right or wrong, good or bad have formed us into who we are today. They should continue to be remembered. It can be and should be the responsibility of each person viewing a statue or maker to form their own conclusion as to if they should respect or ignore the subject matter.
If for some reason the subject matter bothers or offends them so much, then don’t look at it.
