To the editor:
On last week’s “Views from the water” photo essay: I remember climbing up that ladder with my friend, Crayton Walters, leading the way. The pilot boat pulled away and there was nothing, but ocean under me.
Crayton yelled something to me, but I couldn’t understand what he said. I was too busy holding on for dear life and looking around.
When I got on the big boat, I asked him what had he said. His reply was: DON’T LOOK DOWN.
TOO LATE. QUITE AN EXPERIENCE FOR A LAWYER.
