MYSTERY: Charleston scene

This might be easy for some, tough for others, but where is this Charleston scene taken by contributing photographer Michael Kaynard?  Send your best guess to:  editor@charlestoncurrents.com — and make sure to include the name of the town in which you live.

Perhaps we threw some of you a bone with this week’s mystery because last week’s was so tough.  Our best guess was from Peggy Meintjes of Summerville, who wrote, “Haven’t the slightest idea of where this fish IS; however, I think he is rushing to have a date with a mermaid! Cheers!”

Kristina Wheeler of West Ashley got it wrote, noting, “The fish on the bicycle is in the Guinness Storehouse in Dublin, Ireland! I have not been, but used to work in an Irish pub that had a poster of this guy!”

George Graf of Palmyra, Va., shared that the quote on the floor at the Guinness museum says, “A WOMAN needs a MAN like a FISH needs a BICYCLE.”
