Flowers dance beneath this globe sculpture in a photograph taken four years ago by contributing photographer Michael Kaynard. Where is it? Send your best guess to: editor@charlestoncurrents.com — and make sure to include the name of the town in which you live.
In the last issue, we offered a photo of an old house obscured by some oak branches. Several people got the correct answer, as described by readers Jann and Brian Parsons of Mentor, Ohio: Australian photojournalist Bill Hawker’s photo is of the Plantation House at Magnolia Plantation and Gardens. A little over a year ago, we were married there and had our wedding reception on the beautiful veranda! We love Magnolia Plantation and Gardens!
Others who correctly identified the house were Chris Brooks of Mount Pleasant, Sara Dwyer of James Island, and Kristina Wheeler and Stephen Yetman, both of Charleston. Congratulations, all!
