PHOTO ESSAY: Charleston through an Australian’s eyes

EDITOR’S NOTE:  Bill Hawker, a photojournalist from Sydney, Australia, toured the area last week and offers these snapshots of what he saw in the Charleston area.  Hawker, who has just completed a semester of study at the University of Texas to wrap up a master’s degree in communication, says he’ll send more photos from summer visits to Europe.  You can find his photos here.
