PHOTO:  The Good, The Bad and The Chan

Superheroes, sidekicks and villains participated in “The Good, The Bad and The Chan,” a play written, performed, directed, designed and choreographed by 23 children who attended last week’s drama camp by Storytree Children’s Theatre at the Charleston Gaillard Center.  It was obvious during a Friday performance that the children, who spent more than 30 hours collaborating on the play, had a great time.  Pictured at left in black with a red headband is the pint-sized star, “Jackie Chan.” Photo by Andy Brack.

My son Jacob had a fantastic time and is already talking about next summer’s camp. The Storytree Theatre and the Gailliard were perfectly in sync to make the week go perfectly. Jacob is the youngest of 4 children in our home … we have done A LOT of camps around Charleston … this was by far the best one yet! My only complaint was that this week was already filled up.
