MYSTERY: Nice-looking house, but where?

If you live in the Charleston area, this house might look familiar, but where is it?  Send your best guess to:  editor@charlestoncurrents.com — and make sure to include the name of the town in which you live.

Last week’s photo should have been familiar to folks who gorge on HGTV and the popular Magnolia fixer-upper series.  Only one person — sleuth George Graf of Palmyra, Va., correctly identified the photos.  The iconic silos taken by Cynthia Bledsoe of West Ashley are part of the Magnolia Market at the Silos complex in Waco, Texas, made famous by Chip and Joanna Gaines.

Graf wrote:  “According to a December 2015 Country Living article, Chip and Joanna Gaines‘ of HGTV’s Fixer Upper recently undertook their biggest rehab project ever in acquiring a sprawling downtown Waco property that includes two huge grain silos and a 20,000-square-foot barn. More than a year in the making, the new complex had its grand opening in a two-day “#Silobration” on October 30th and 31st.”
