17-0102-firetruck

Emergency workers in Charleston and across the nation are ready to go, despite any holiday, as highlighted by this photo at a Charleston fire station.  Which one is it and where?  Send your best guess to:  editor@charlestoncurrents.com — and make sure to include the name of the town in which you live.  Photo by Andy Brack.

16-1219-mysteryIn our last mystery, we highlighted a garland-accented clock on a building in Charleston snapped by contributing photographer Michael Kaynard.  Several people quickly got the location correct:  St. Michael’s Church at the Four Corners of Law (Meeting and Broad streets).

Hats off to all of our photo sleuths:  George Graf of Palmyra, Va.; Jane Riley Gambrell and Stephen Yetman, both of Charleston; Chris Brooks, Mount Pleasant; Bud Ferillo of Columbia; Ross Lenhart of Pawleys Island; Legare Clement and Kristina Wheeler, both of West Ashley; and Archie Burkel of James Island;
