MYSTERY: Do you see the little white dog?

Most of our mystery photos focus on where a picture is.  In this photo, you might be able to figure out what and where it is, but how about this — when was it taken and what significance does the vehicle have?  By the way, note the little white dog!  Send your best guess to:  editor@charlestoncurrents.com — and make sure to include the name of the town in which you live.

In the last issue, we showed  you a close-up shot of a rusty gate marked with a 21.  No, it wasn’t a 21 Club in Charleston.  Rather it was part of the gate outside the Edmondston-Alston House, which has a magnificent view of Charleston from its location at 21 East Battery, Charleston.  Hats off to Kristina Wheeler of Charleston and George Graf of Palmyra, Va., for figuring out this tough-to-identify mystery.
